Our landlord hired this company to repair a leak that they claimed was coming from a balcony on another floor. They initially quoted approximately $4,000 to seal, waterproof, cement, re-tile, and correct the slope of the balcony. Later, they convinced the landlord to add rebar reinforcement, increasing the total to just over $8,000. They promised the job would take two days (Friday and Saturday). Not only did they fail to finish within that timeframe, they still had not completed the work by Tuesday. A full week after the project began, they contacted the landlord asking to return yet again to finish the job so they could receive the remaining balance. As of that point, the work they had contracted to complete was still unfinished.

The first red flag was that they told the landlord they performed all of their own work and did not subcontract. In reality, nearly all of the physical labor was done by a single hardworking laborer while the two owners largely supervised.

The second and most significant issue involved the rebar installation. The landlord was told photos would be taken once the rebar was installed as proof of the work. Despite repeated requests, those photos were never provided when promised. Instead, we received excuse after excuse, including that the photos were “on a computer.”

Security cameras covering the property showed no rebar being delivered, no ladder being used, no drilling, and no work consistent with installing rebar. Even the laborer indicated that only cement and tile work had been completed.

When questioned, one owner claimed the rebar had been installed on the side of the balcony. The tenant inspected that area and found no evidence of any installation. The following day, the same owner changed his story and claimed the rebar had been installed in the front instead.

When confronted with the camera footage and witness statements, their response was simply, “Are you a contractor? Do you know how rebar is installed?” They then claimed the laborer had somehow installed all of the rebar from the top of the balcony without using a ladder or leaving any visible evidence, despite the security footage showing no such work.

Two days after repeatedly requesting proof, they finally sent a photograph that they claimed showed the installed rebar. The image immediately appeared suspicious. Multiple visual inconsistencies were obvious, and AI-detection software (both free and paid services) indicated with approximately 99% confidence that the image had been AI-generated. When this was brought to their attention, they became defensive instead of providing legitimate documentation.

We informed them that we intended to verify the presence of rebar using proper inspection equipment before making any final payment. Instead of cooperating, one owner threatened that if payment was not received by Thursday, they would return and remove all of the work they had completed. We viewed this as an unacceptable threat to destroy completed work on private property.

While researching the company further, additional concerns emerged. Their Facebook page appeared to contain AI-generated project photos rather than actual completed work. The positive reviews were all posted by newly created profiles with almost no activity beyond the review itself, making their authenticity highly questionable. Their website likewise contained only a single review and a gallery that appeared to consist of AI-generated images rather than photographs of completed projects.

The following day, one owner returned claiming he had a tool that could prove rebar had been installed. The “tool” turned out to be a standard metal detector, which predictably detected the surrounding metal railings and other nearby metal objects, making it completely unsuitable for proving that rebar existed inside the concrete.

During this visit, the owner’s behavior toward the tenant was unprofessional. He repeatedly shut the balcony door in the tenant’s face, became argumentative, and yelled during the interaction. Although he briefly apologized for his behavior from the previous day, he quickly returned to the same confrontational attitude.

As he was leaving, the landlord attempted to photograph the license plate of the work vehicle for documentation purposes. The owner objected, threatened to call the police, and falsely claimed he had been assaulted despite the entire interaction being recorded.

Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this company. We experienced repeated delays, a project that remained unfinished well beyond the promised completion date, inconsistent explanations about the work performed, missing documentation, questionable evidence, aggressive behavior when legitimate questions were asked, and marketing materials that appeared to rely on AI-generated images and suspicious online reviews rather than verifiable completed projects.

We strongly encourage anyone considering hiring this company to thoroughly verify their credentials, request documentation of completed work, and proceed with caution.

As an additional example of their sales tactics, one of our neighbors simply asked for a quote to paint her peeling balcony. Rather than providing a straightforward estimate, they repeatedly attempted to upsell waterproofing and other services before finally quoting $2,500 for painting alone.
